Quinn family portraits

I met Megan when I started at the University and maybe it's the fact we share names, somewhat, that we bonded so well. Hmmm, wait, I can think of other reasons we bonded in that office.... I'll let everyone use their imagination.
They finally gave me a shot to take their family portraits and I jumped at the chance. Here are the Quinns and my favourite little girl, Amelia. (Although I call her Stella, because that's what I called her when Megan was pregnant.)

Katie and Simon

Remember a few months ago I posted engagement pictures of the beautiful Katie and Simon. Well the K-Os wedding, as they dubbed it, is complete and these two are hitched. It was a whirlwind trip out to Ontario but I would have it no other way - we had a great time! Here is a sneak peak at the day...

Janine and Peter engagement

Janine and Peter are an adorable couple who truly love each other. That love definitely came through when I shot their engagement photos. Wedding coming up in October and I cannot wait to be there and snap the shots.

Shannon and Scott tie the knot

The reason I love weddings: seeing two people who are madly in love be so excited to take this step and look towards the future. I think that's why most people love them - yes I'm so authentic - but Shannon and Scott are the epitome of this! They have been best friends for years and according to Shannon's family they FINALLLLLYYYYY took the next step almost two years ago. This wedding was fabulous and I think I can vouch for everyone that they had a great time seeing these two love birds tie the knot. I think you'll see just what I mean when you look at the photos. Enjoy the ceremony by candlelight at the Muttart Conservatory. (Yes nighttime wedding means we did the formals beforehand, being a part of their 'first meeting' was a great honour).
Hair styling at Dandy Salon - and the bride cried her stylist did such a great job. Momma Darla getting her son Kai ready for the big day!
These two were patient as I made Shannon approach slowly - nothing like building the excitement!!!

Erin and Chris are having a baby

You've seen this beautiful couple before, Chris and Erin Chalmers. I photographed their engagement pictures about two years ago now. Is it two years guys? Anyways, the next step in their life has come and they are the proud parents of a beautiful young man, Logan Richard Harrison Chalmers. If this boy doesn't melt your heart, well then you're missing that vital organ. Here's a nice little mix of their newborn photos, taken just six days after Logan was born, followed by Erin's big belly. Logan was a little early so we're glad we got these shots when we did, only a couple of weeks prior. He's beautiful and so perfect, congrats to you guys!

Katie and Simon will be tying the knot..

And I'm invited to photograph them! Cannot wait. But first, let's get the engagement shots. Funny story with this one, locked my keys in the trunk of my car but AMA timed it perfectly as we just wrapped shooting when he pulled up. Katie, Simon, your patience is great appreciated although it was a good laugh! Cannot wait for Ontario, June 2011 - we're going to have so much fun with your wedding. Now check out this hot couple...

Appelman Family Photos

I'm a bit behind on my posts, but don't worry folks I haven't forgotten you faithful followers! Everyone, meet the Appelman family. They were an absolute hoot to photograph down at the University of Alberta. It helped that we had absolutely perfect conditions!
